Hi, I’m Sam. 

 

I’m a Primary Science Specialist teacher and I started this toys program because I was looking for a way to engage my students in forces, history materials and design and inventions.

Like many things, it started off innocently small.  I raided my own children’s toy box for my supplies. 

​

But then a few other schools heard about my lessons and asked whether I could visit to help with their unit.

 

Soon I was buying toys online, testing activities on my kids and researching, researching, researching.

​

Fast forward 5 years and here we are, with Toy Incursions and thousands of students participating in our programs each year.
